Christmas!
Every store i walk into there is Christmas decorations! Candles that smell like Christmas tree and all that good stuff. Personally, I think it's a bit early but I don't mind at all! I absolutely love Christmas time! I feel like everyone is happy, I know i am. I hope that it doesn't come and go too quickly. :)

My family and I were so excited to go to Aruba for a month vacation. It had been planned for six months now. The only problem we came a cross was the new puppy we had gotten. Six months ago we were not expecting to have our friend’s dog have little puppies. She had seven of them and was giving them out for free. My mom took one look at them and immediately fell in love with Scruffy. We had to bring him home.
Although he is only 5 months old now, he’s got this loud, low, intimidating bark. We wrestle around all the time and he’s the most joyful, playful, jubilant puppy I’ve ever seen. He’s a nice light brown with some darker brown and white spots. He’s a little baby and is scared of everything. He wouldn’t harm a fly.
As the weeks were closing in to the start of our vacation, the more we thought about what we were going to do with Scruffy. We couldn’t bring him with us. I started to feel very upset, almost as if I was betraying Scruff. It was a week before we were going to leave and we had decided to get a dog sitter, our neighbor.
It was almost as if Scruffy knew we were going to be going away for a while. He wasn’t his normal playful self. He didn’t eat as much as he did; he always had a gargantuan appetite. He just sort of laid there like a big ball of fluff. It was very upsetting for me and the rest of my family.
So the day finally came and we had our bags at the door. Our neighbor had come to help us pack our car and say hi to Fluffy. As we shut the trunk to our car when we were all packed in, I turned and ran to Fluffy. His eyes had this kind of sadness in them that I didn’t like to see at all. Finally my parents called me over and we got in the car. I opened my window and shouted to Fluffy. He started shouting back. Clawing at the door, barking like a mad dog. My parents started to drive away and as we were half way down the street, you could still hear Fluffy yelping, crying, and whimpering. I felt as if he wouldn’t stop until we got home again. That whole vacation he was on my mind.

Journal Entry
I think that Giacinto should be spider king because he had a pretty cool spider home. He sings the songs everyday and seems to be really into it. He looks like hes a bug lover. I'm pretty sure he's gotten candy everyday for having something spidery too. I think he's a good candidate. For spider queen I would have to say Allison most definetly deserves it. She sings the songs loud and proud, and knows every word by heart. And I'm not just saying that because I sit in front of her. She's got cute spiders everyday, and really seems to love spider week. I think that G and Allison would be great together as spider King and Queen. They share their great love for arachnids! :)
